 Here is a layout I did of PDC's first July 4th. She was busy playing in her bouncy seat, while her brother, Bubba, was outside lighting of fireworks. She kept jerking every time he would set one off, but thankfully they didn't scare her anymore than that.

This layout is to honor my uncle, who served in the military. I am so proud to call him my uncle & I always remember seeing him as a hero when I was growing up.

 So you can see how versatile this kit can be. It is a wonderful, amazing kit that can be used to scrap all of your favorite patriotic July 4th, or Memorial Day, memories.

"Wee! Like the piggies, Grandma!"

  Today I have a page that I made using a previously free kit from LJS Digital Designs called "When Pigs Fly". When I saw this kit I knew it was exactly what I was looking for to scrap this absolutely cute memory of the Princess Demon Child from when we were camping last year.

 We were camping up by Red Lodge, MT last July with my in-laws & friends. My MIL was taking the PDC for a ride on the new 4 wheelers they had just gotten. They were running down the gravel road that led into the camp ground & my MIL could hear PDC saying something. She stopped to see what it was she was saying. PDC replied, when asked what she was saying, "Wee! Like the piggies, Grandma!"

 Now when they got back to camp & my MIL told me what PDC said, she was a little confused because she had no idea what PDC meant by this. I laughingly explained that it was from the insurance commercial where the piggy has a pin wheel & is hanging out the back window of a moving car saying, "Weeeeee!" Once she remembered she was amused by PDC & I knew then that I would have to make a scrapbook page to remember that day.

Ginger's Scraps N Pixels New Release- Fishin

 Ginger has a new release this week out at Scrap and Tubes. It is called "Fishin" and is great for scraping all those fun pictures that we take on all those memorable family fishing trips. Here is a look at this fun kit.

 Doesn't it just look so fun to work with. Trust me it is. This kit includes 152 elements, 30 papers and a full alphabet. Here is a layout I made using "Fishin".

 I also made a Facebook Timeline Cover for my Facebook page using Ginger's Scraps N Pixels kit "Sea Side Resort" & a picture of my Princess Demon Child, Cassi, taken while we were filling our swimming pool a couple of weeks ago. She loved playing in the pool while it was filling, but now that it is full, she won't go in it. She even threw a fit the other day when I took her in and held her the whole time. While it is a good thing that she won't think of going in alone, the pool  is 4 feet deep and she is only 36 inches tall, I don't really like the idea that she doesn't seem to trust me enough not to drop her when I am carrying her around in it. Who can figure out 3 year old Princess Demon Children? (I will explain later, or you will figure out on your own, why it is that we call her our Demon Child, but it is always said with love to be sure.)

Yes I know she doesn't look like a demon in this picture, that is why I also call her a princess. My Escape?

  I am new to all of this blogging business. I go to plenty of blogs everyday in my quest to find scrapbooking materials, but this is a first for me. This is to be my escape from the craziness of my "real" life.
 
  To start out I will tell you a little about me- I am a SAHM of 4 1/2. I was born & raised in Montana. I love the Big Sky country & wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I have two children of my own, while my husband has 5. We have my two & two of his living with us full time & one of his part time. The ones we have at home range in age from 19 to 3, two boys, two girls. I also have 14 chickens, three guinea pigs, two dogs, a cat & a hamster. All of this along with my "adopted" daughter who spends tons of time at our house make this all a zoo, or utter craziness, most days. However I wouldn't trade any of it for anything!

  I have just recently become a member of Ginger's Scraps N Pixels (http://gingersscrapsnpixels.blogspot.com/) creative team, so I thought a blog would also be a good way to get word out to more people that just my Facebook page.
