I am so heartsick right now. My dog had a snafu with my EHD & the EHD came out the loser! That means that everything I had on the EHD is GONE! All of my scrapping kits, all of my layouts, all of my movies, all of my ebooks, all my important papers, but even more devastating, ALL OF MY PICTURES! All of the princess's baby pictures, all the pictures from Bubba that I have been able to scan in (an ex lost his baby book years ago already, so the pictures I have are so precious already), all the pictures of my dad, who passed away 2 1/2 years ago (thankfully my sister has the pictures & can give them back to me).
I took the EHD in to a computer place on Friday but they can't retrieve anything from it, so I am going to end up having to send it in to someplace that can use a clean room to try to salvage the data on the EHD. Only problem there is that I can cost up to $1000. I almost died when told that! Then I had to think about what was on the drive, MY KID'S PICTURES! Sorry but those are priceless to me! It is however going to have to wait until DH & I get our taxes in next year to be sent in, I won;t have the money until then.
So I am gradually trying to recoup all of the pictures I can from Facebook & family, so that means that things will be a little slow on here for the next week or so, but I will make sure to keep you updated on what I have going on until then.

I wanna be a COWBOY!
My sister took my Nephew (or great nephew if you are counting) to the circus recently & sent me some adorable pictures of Little D riding a horse. She said it was so cute, he acted like he had been born in the saddle. He reached down & held the saddle horn like he had been doing it all his life (the whole whopping 23 months of it.) I love this little boy so much & love being able to see all the steps in his growing up. Here is the layout that I made with the pictures that she took & sent me.
I used the fun kit Wild Wild West by BoomersGirl Designs & the template kit 3 To Get Ready by LissyKay Designs.
I also have a layout that I am going to submit for the buffet challenge at GingerScraps. It is of the goofy Princess acting like a cowgirl-princess (does anyone else see the theme I have going here?) She has this thing about using her tights on her head like it is princess hair & dressing all up. She is a goofball when she is not driving me insane!
This is using the bundle Quirkiness by Luv Ewe Designs & the template Summer Moments Like This by Brenian Designs. Huh, I just realized I have another theme going here- kits from GingerScraps & templates from GoDigital Scrapbooking! Iwill have to see if I can shake things up a little bit next time, shall we.
Until the next time... Stay Scrappy!

So Much Going On
Wow, am I the only one that can hardly believe that it is almost the middle of June already? We have been so busy around here lately that I was beginning to feel like a chicken with my head cut off.
The Princess graduated kindergarten a couple of weeks ago. While they didn't have a graduation for them at their school, our friendly photographer, Boots, took some neat pictures of her in a graduation cap & gown for me. Aren't they so cute?
Bubba is going to be a senior in high school this coming year. So hard to believe since I can remember the day I brought him from the hospital like it was yesterday. Time sure flies when you are having fun & trying to nail Jello to a tree! Here is Bubba when he came home from the hospital (he hates it when I post his picture online now.)
The DH thought he had his race truck all ready for the opening of Drag Racing at our local track, that was until the first race of the season when it wouldn't run. So that was the end of that. Now it is back to the garage to tear the thing apart & put more money into it.
Meanwhile Stitch is still putting money into his car to finish building it. He was hoping to make it out to the track this year until there was an issue with the transmission, which means that it will probably mean no racing for him until next year.
I have been working on my scrapping around running here & there for all of the kids & hubby. I was also working on the logo for our race team that our family is building (not ever going to be an empire, but plenty of family fun.) We went camping with the whole family last weekend, which was fun in spite of it being hotter than hades even out in the woods & mountains. Was pretty surprised to see that we still have snow in the higher mountains so hopefully that means that we won't have such a dry summer this year & have to worry about fires like the last couple of years.
I have also been busy on the scrapping front in the last few weeks, adding more designers to the growing list. I am now happy to say that I CT for Luv Ewe Designs, Brenian Designs (who shares a CT with Leigh Penrod, yay), Dreams 4Ever, & Charly Renay (Cresent Moon Designs). I also have joined a group CT that does work for many of the designers that don't want to deal with having teams of their own, The CT Hot Spot. They work with designers like Over The Fence Designs, ADB Designs, Carin Grobe, Heartstrings Scrap Art, Fayette Designs & others. It is nice to have a choice of so many designers but only one set of guidelines to follow.
So we will be seeing more scrap pages & many more posts in the coming days. Until then....
