Wow, am I the only one that can hardly believe that it is almost the middle of June already? We have been so busy around here lately that I was beginning to feel like a chicken with my head cut off.
The Princess graduated kindergarten a couple of weeks ago. While they didn't have a graduation for them at their school, our friendly photographer, Boots, took some neat pictures of her in a graduation cap & gown for me. Aren't they so cute?
Bubba is going to be a senior in high school this coming year. So hard to believe since I can remember the day I brought him from the hospital like it was yesterday. Time sure flies when you are having fun & trying to nail Jello to a tree! Here is Bubba when he came home from the hospital (he hates it when I post his picture online now.)
The DH thought he had his race truck all ready for the opening of Drag Racing at our local track, that was until the first race of the season when it wouldn't run. So that was the end of that. Now it is back to the garage to tear the thing apart & put more money into it.
Meanwhile Stitch is still putting money into his car to finish building it. He was hoping to make it out to the track this year until there was an issue with the transmission, which means that it will probably mean no racing for him until next year.
I have been working on my scrapping around running here & there for all of the kids & hubby. I was also working on the logo for our race team that our family is building (not ever going to be an empire, but plenty of family fun.) We went camping with the whole family last weekend, which was fun in spite of it being hotter than hades even out in the woods & mountains. Was pretty surprised to see that we still have snow in the higher mountains so hopefully that means that we won't have such a dry summer this year & have to worry about fires like the last couple of years.
I have also been busy on the scrapping front in the last few weeks, adding more designers to the growing list. I am now happy to say that I CT for Luv Ewe Designs, Brenian Designs (who shares a CT with Leigh Penrod, yay), Dreams 4Ever, & Charly Renay (Cresent Moon Designs). I also have joined a group CT that does work for many of the designers that don't want to deal with having teams of their own, The CT Hot Spot. They work with designers like Over The Fence Designs, ADB Designs, Carin Grobe, Heartstrings Scrap Art, Fayette Designs & others. It is nice to have a choice of so many designers but only one set of guidelines to follow.
So we will be seeing more scrap pages & many more posts in the coming days. Until then....
Stay Scrappy!
